About us

Palmiye Wood Decoration is an Istanbul workshop that has built its work around wood, and this site focuses on wooden furniture for hotels. We believe timber is one of the most effective ways to make a hotel feel warm, calm and personal, from a city hotel to a resort.

Most hotel furniture combines veneered panels with solid wood details, and the balance between them is a design decision. Veneers allow large, stable surfaces for wardrobes, wall panels and headboards, while solid timber gives strength to edges, legs and frames. We work with oak, walnut, ash and iroko, among other species available on request, and we help designers choose tones that suit the light and the rest of the materials.

Matching wood across a room is a craft in itself. We select veneer batches for each project and arrange the leaves so that grain and colour flow across neighbouring pieces. Finishes are chosen to protect the surface against daily cleaning while keeping a natural feel, and a sample or a mock-up room can be prepared for approval.

Production is carried out in our workshop and installation by our own team, floor by floor. Wooden doors and wall cladding can be produced from the same material to complete the interior, and hotels under renovation can stay partly open while we work.
